Stunning Flightseeing Milford Sound Tour
7 Feb 2013 (Thu) - 9 Mar 2013 (Sat)
Erika from our Hurleys team was lucky enough to take a Flightseeing Trip over the Milford Sound with Air Milford. Check out what she had to say about it!
Milford Sound is one of the most scenic areas of New Zealand's South Island. You can access it from different locations and it SHOULDN'T be missed for anything.
I was lucky to be on a Fly-Cruise-Fly tour with Air Milford and I can absolutely recommend this tour.
It's an approximately 45-minute flight to get into Milford Sound, and then you take a cruise into the fiord and out to the Tasman Sea on a small boat, which is great because they can get really close to the wildlife and nature, such as waterfalls. And then we flew back on a different route so we got to see different landscape from the sky.
Matt, the pilot, was incredible. He flew us smoothly over the top of the mountains and showed us major points of interest and explained a bit about the area.
Also, all the staff are very friendly and willing to answer questions.
I absolutely recommend Air Milford for a trip that will leave you in awe of such spectacular landscape and country!!!

Funyak & Dart River Safari
24 Apr 2013 (Wed) - 24 May 2013 (Fri)
Enjoy this great adventure. Alessandra from Hurleys recently went on this amazing trip.
Funyak Safari was a great experience. It was a beautiful hot day, so the normally very cold river was very refreshing! The scenery was spectacular and I enjoyed both parts - the jetboat ride & the funyaking. We spent a good time in the kayak, time enough for you to get the hold of what you have to do and then enjoy the rest of the trip.
The crew were excellent guides, very knowledgeable and made the day even more enjoyable. Giving us tips of what to do with the kayak and always keeping an eye on everyone in the group, always with a good motivating word for everyone. The lunch was nice, in a lovely spot. I would definitely recommend insect repellant though!

From Queenstown with Real Journeys
An amazing journey to the fiords and beyond.
Book direct with reception staff and enjoy.
The trip was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The scenery we pass through and the Manapouri lake were amazing. And then we arrived at Doubtful Sound to face the stunning views of the fiords. Its breathtaking and I just couldn´t get enough. Almost at the end of the trip we stopped in a perfect spot and the skipper asked us to be quiet, turn mobiles and cameras off and he killed the engines. It´s amazing the sounds you can´t hear when the boat is running. Everything from birds, seals and the Tasman sea can be heard. It´s so peaceful and beautiful that touches your soul. Once you go to the Fiords you´ll never be the same.
During our way back to the harbor they showed us a video of the underwater activity in Doubtful sound. You´ll be amazed with all that goes on under those calm waters.
A delightful trip for any kind of travelers, solo, family or group of friends.
One of our MUST DO trips!
